JAN. 26, 2017:

The start of the new year can meet new resolutions, goals and rituals, but it can also mean ruts. Smack dab in the middle of the winter, January can often stifle our creativity. Not to worry, your girls at ipsyOS are creating some amazing content, presenting beauty looks that are totally wearable, totally attainable and totally fresh for 2017. Here are some of our picks.

Cranberry Makeup Tutorial by Brianna Fox
Though she created this video before Christmas, Brianna Fox’s Cranberry-inspired video still feels fresh for the new year. Red around the eyes can often be a difficult look to master, especially for blondes, but Brianna finds the balance between dramatic and avant-garde. We love the way she uses a matte brown as a base for the cranberry color.

Winter GRWM Monochrome Makeup by Julia Salvia
A little bit 90s, a little bit Kardashian, this tutorial is a great alternative to the darker smokey eye. Salvia uses a lighter, creamy brown for the lid and a grey eyeliner to keep the look daytime appropriate.

Easy Voluminous Ponytail Hair Tutorial by Marianna Hewitt
Who didn’t love Sienna Miller’s cute and casual ponytail from the Golden Globes? The style crowned the ponytail as the most on-trend style for spring. Best for unwashed hair, this style is so easy and chic, and Hewitt’s straight-forward directions make the look even more accessible.

Chatty Get Ready by Vy Quaint
If you saw the new film La La Land, you couldn’t help but be inspired by the primary colors used throughout the film. Quaint’s tutorial uses a similar primary palette and she doesn’t shy away of from using heavy matte pigments. We love the look she achieves—it’s both artful and editorial.
